I tried Bitcoin Depot one time when I was out running errands and figured I’d just get it done while I was already near the machine. To be fair, the transaction did go through, so it wasn’t a total problem or anything. But the fees seemed high to me, and the whole process just didn’t leave me feeling totally confident. I also didn’t think the support info was very easy to understand, which made me a little more hesitant. Maybe it’s completely legit and I’m just being cautious, but I’d definitely double-check everything before using it again.

"Works sometimes, but not what I expected"
I’ve used them a few times now, and I feel a bit misled. Most of the time the machine works okay, but one time it was completely down and another day it was really slow. I was expecting it to be more reliable. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not as smooth as I thought it would be.

"Pretty solid when you need something quick"
I’ve used Bitcoin Depot a handful of times now, and it’s been a good option for me. The fees aren’t exactly something you celebrate, but compared to a few other places I’ve tried, they felt reasonable. The machine was easy enough to use, and I didn’t run into any delays or confusing problems. For the convenience, I’d use it again.

The app is easy to use overall, but it does freeze every now and then (usually at the worst possible moment). It gets the job done, but it could definitely feel smoother.

I used Bitcoin Depot once, and tbh the fee info didn’t feel very clear before I put my cash in.

I knew there’d be some kind of fee, obv, but the final amount I got was lower than I expected. Maybe it was listed somewhere, idk, but it definitely didn’t stand out enough to me.
The machine itself worked fine, so I’m not giving it 1 star or anything, but they really need to make the total fees way easier to see before you confirm.

"A little slower than I expected, but easy enough"
I did the identity verification on Bitcoin Depot and expected it to be either instant or kind of a hassle. It landed somewhere in the middle. I had to retake my ID photo once because the first one came out blurry, but after that it went through without any real issues. It wasn’t super fast, but it also didn’t take long enough to be annoying. Overall, smooth experience. 4 stars

I reached out to support about an issue I was having, i never really got any useful help back. I kept checking my email throughout the day, even while I was making dinner and trying to get other stuff done, but it was just more waiting. It’s really frustrating when there’s money involved and you feel like you’re just stuck with no clear answer

I’ve used Bitcoin Depot a couple times now, and overall it was easy. The first time I was a little confused about what I was supposed to do next, but the instructions on the screen were clear enough that I figured it out quickly. It only took a few minutes to finish, so that was nice. The fees did seem kind of high to me, which threw me off a bit, but if you just want something simple and straightforward, it works well...

It’s in a handy spot, especially if you already shop nearby like I do. The machine worked fine for me, no real issues there. That said, the fees felt a bit on the high side, and I think other customers might feel the same. I’d probably only use it when I really need to, not as my first choice every time.

I used Bitcoindepot and it felt safe overall. They do checks and give you warnings about scams, which I appreciated. But some of the fraud prevention steps were confusing, and support wasn’t exactly quick to help, so that part’s kind of on them. It wasn’t a bad experience, just feels like they need to make the whole process a lot smoother.

The speed was okay overall, but it did take a little longer than I hoped. What really got annoying was having to go through verification more than once. It felt repetitive and kind of slowed the whole thing down.

I’ve used Bitcoin Depot a few times now, and I guess the thing I appreciate most is that there’s usually a kiosk somewhere nearby.
I was a little unsure at first because I didn’t want to spend a bunch of time driving around or checking random places, but the locations I’ve used have been easy to get to.
Overall, it’s been a simple experience. Nothing too complicated, which is nice when you just need something to be available without a hassle.
